Missionary Service

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Mark 16:15

The Savior’s charge to go into all the world and share the gospel is an important part of our faith. Like the vast majority of the responsibilities in our church, serving as a full or part-time missionary is an opportunity that many members choose on their own. They’re not paid for their service. In fact, they pay for the privilege of representing the Lord throughout the world with their own funds.

Missionary service is a sacrifice, but it’s also a blessing that brings those who serve closer to their Savior, as well as to the lives they touch along the way.
