TUESDAY — TRAVEL + CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING + BASE CAMP SETUP

Morning

  • 8:00 AM departure from Centennial
  • Drive: ~2 hours to Jefferson

Midday: Clay Pigeon Shooting

  • Location: A designated range or BLM land (with safety protocols)
  • Activity: Shotgun clay pigeon shooting, supervised and safe

Afternoon

  • Drive to base camp area (e.g., Michigan Creek or Jefferson Lake)
  • Set up base camp and orientation

Evening

  • Dinner and campfire briefing
  • Overview of the week’s activities

WEDNESDAY — SKILL BUILDING AT BASE CAMP

Morning

  • Rotate through skill stations: knots, fire building, navigation, first aid

Afternoon

  • Games of skills learned during morning.
  • Survival packing and planning

Evening

  • Fireside devotional
  • Briefing on survival hike scenario

THURSDAY — SURVIVAL HIKE & OVERNIGHT CHALLENGE

Morning

  • Prep for hiking and wilderness survival
  • Begin the 4–6 mile hike into the wilderness

Daytime

  • Navigation and survival skills in action
  • Shelter building

Evening

  • Overnight survival experience with shelters and teamwork
  • Base camp group returns before dark

FRIDAY — FISHING & CANOEING DAY or team building exercises

Morning & Afternoon

  • Primary Location: Jefferson Lake or alternative spots like Tarryall Creek
  • Activities: Fishing (trout), canoeing, and water safety

Evening

  • Free time and optional challenges
  • Final campfire devotional

SATURDAY — BREAK CAMP & RETURN

Morning

  • Breakfast and pack up
  • Leave no trace check

Midday

  • Depart Jefferson area
  • Stop near Bailey for burgers at the chosen stand

Afternoon

  • Return to Centennial by mid–late afternoon
