Friendship, Faith, and Fun!
Growing up in today’s world is exciting, challenging, and sometimes confusing for our youth. Distractions are abundant and society is changing on a near daily basis. Our youth programs provide structure and an uplifting environment for young people to develop friendships, strengthen their faith, and have fun doing it!
Weekly Activities
Structured weekly wholesome activities provide the youth opportunities to have fun while learning new skills and strengthening relationships with supportive friends. They’re usually held on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm at our church buildings or close locations in our neighborhoods. Activities are often divided by age groups and are available to youth between the ages of 12–18 (including 11-year-olds turning 12 that calendar year).
Sunday Gospel Classes
Each Sunday, following our general worship service, 1-hour youth classes are held to help them strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ and their Heavenly Father. These classes make use of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, modern revelation through prophets and apostles, and the experience of leaders and other youth.
Seminary
Youth in high school have the opportunity to do a deeper dive into the gospel by attending a zero-hour seminary class. It’s a great way to start the day off with added strength as they face the challenges of high school.
Late-Start Youth Temple Sessions
Youth in our stake have the opportunity to attend the temple and perform baptisms by proxy for people who have passed away without receiving that opportunity. Late-start sessions for youth are held on certain Wednesdays at 7am. Click on the button below for a full schedule of upcoming sessions and to sign up.
